The Department of Water Resources, in collaboration with the consulting firms, organized Focus Group Discussions to compile regional projects, identifying local needs and agency project proposals.

On Wednesday, December 18, 2024, from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, a meeting was held at the Sroithong 3 Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Golden City Rayong Hotel, as well as online via Zoom Cloud Meetings. During the session, the consulting team presented the challenges in conserving and restoring rivers, canals, natural water resources, and wetlands. The presentation covered an overview of water resources across Thailand’s 22 main river basins, along with the specific conservation and restoration issues faced in the Eastern Region. The team also gathered feedback and recommendations regarding the project study, which will be incorporated into the upcoming phases of the study and relevant operations.
